Reusable insulated packaging is designed to protect temperature-sensitive products over multiple shipments. Between uses, it is retrieved, inspected, cleaned, and refurbished to be re-introduced into the logistics chain.

Unlike a linear model based on the “take, make, dispose” principle, reuse creates a circular logistics loop.

This principle is particularly relevant for pharmaceutical cold chains requiring regular international shipments.

How does our Reuse & Reverse service work?

1. Collection of packaging after delivery

After the temperature-sensitive product is received, we arrange for the recovery of the packaging directly at the delivery site.

Our collection service is available in over 80 countries across 4 continents.

Collection points can include:

We then carry out the necessary operations to return it to circulation:

  • cleaning

  • repair, if necessary

  • replacement of relevant components

  • functional check

  • validation before reuse.

3. Repositioning for a new cycle

Following refurbishment, the packaging can be:

  • reused locally;

  • stored in a service center;

  • repositioned to another region;

  • reshipped to a client in need of it.

Repositioning is always conducted via sea freight.
